The Religious Education program is meant to supplement the Religious formation already happening in the home. Parents are the first and foremost educators of their children. Blessed Sacrament Parish will assist parents in teaching their children by providing a safe environment to learn and share their faith.
It is expected that any child that does not attend a Catholic private school should attend a Religious Ed program. Every year is an important stepping stone in a child’s Faith Journey, not just the sacramental years.
Students attending Pope Francis Prep or
St. Mary's High School must still register with the Religious Ed Office. They can choose to attend Confirmation Prep classes at their respected school but MUST make their Confirmation at their Family Parish.
Our Elementary Program includes:
First Communion Prep (Grade 1)
First Communion (Grade 2) Please contact the Religious Ed Office if your student is in a higher grade but still needs to make their First Communion.
NEW! Catechesis of the Good Shepherd is a Montessori based Religious Education Program with hands on learning for younger students.
